Conservation

Saving the world isn’t easy and often times it feels as though powerful forces of commodity extraction and deforestation (in the form of coffee, coca leaf production and coffee) are swallowing habitats in Latin America.  From paramos to the Amazonian basin, while travelling throughout South America and the Caribbean I have learned of stories to tell as well as the great fortune to meet passionate conservationists that are accomplishing amazing feats to protect some of the most threatened habitats in the Americas.
